The more I think about it, the fewer universal maxims there are for love; you have to find your own way. Just as in discussions of ethics, there are two primary questions; “why should we be ethical?” and, “what is it to be ethical?”. If you don’t feel love, (or affection or whatever), knowing how to express love will be of little use. -R.
